Hello.  I’m Andy Millar and my passion in life is turning wood.  I enjoy nothing more than spending hours in my workshop turning pieces of wood into useful works of art.

I spent much of my working life as a crew member with an international airline and used my hobby as therapy for relaxation between trips.  During my travels I began to search out interesting and unusual types of wood to bring home.

I found several attractive woods that lend themselves to this type of work and have perfected ways of revealing their inner beauty.  Now that I’ve retired from my travels I can devote more time to the creation of these practical and individual artworks.

Pens are the most popular items as they are an individual and thoughtful gift that the recipient can use every day.  I also create perfume atomisers, magnifying glasses, brushes, wine bottle stoppers and paperweights.

If you don’t see exactly what you want, I can make any of these objects in your choice of style and material.  You can choose from a collection of woods and other materials and match it to a style of pen or other piece to create a truly individual item.
